This work balances intersecting planes and a wire terrain in careful equilibrium.  Each section of glass is carefully balanced on one corner.  If one piece is taken away, the whole work becomes unstable and collapses but collectively, the pieces stand firm.  It is currently displayed in Paul Gaugain’s original residence in Brittany, France.
